This collection of sweaters was inspired by the rainbow-like colors of gasoline stains on concrete and the texture of static on televisions, perfect for the Fall/Winter season. I chose to use simple sweater silhouettes as they are meant to be staple items in one's closet. Each sweater comes in three color-ways; whether or not the wearer wants a pop of color or something more neutral is up to them. The yarns were specially chosen to represent the static texture that inspired the collection. Matching accessories were designed to give the wearer the ability to mix and match each item and upgrade their look to the next level.
Inspiration was sourced from the country of Georgia. The dynamic closures and stitches displayed throughout the sweaters and accessories come from the ornate garments that were traditionally worn by Georgian diplomats. The color story is a mix of muted and bright colors that were pulled from the different murals, architecture, and landscapes in Tbilisi. This collection is meant to be seasonless, thus the varying yarn choices. The wearer can easily mix and match each item with other pieces in their closet to create a new and bold look.
